| JOB DESCRIPTION:
A versatile, smart and enthusiastic Web
Designer, you have 3 to 5 years of experience
designing exclusively for the web, in either a
corporate or agency environment. You will be
responsible for creating the "look and
feel" of a site-successfully integrating
elements of visual appeal, usability, and
navigation. You demonstrate an active
understanding of web site form and function,
combining strong design and tech skills with
an emphasis on user-friendliness and
accessibility. As it is YOUR vision that
guides the site design, you will need to
ensure consistency in templates and graphical
elements and utilize site-wide color and
typeface standards. You should be a creative
master at conceptualizing, yet always remain
true to a client's marketing and brand
recognition objectives. Both Mac- and
PC-proficient, you will be expected to create
a variety of web elements, including:
- Web Sites
- Logos
- Icons
- Navigation buttons
- Banners
- Animated graphics
- Mastheads
using these software applications:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Flash including intermediate Action
Scripting
- Dream weaver
- Image Ready
- Video Editing software a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years Web design experience,
including the design and development of
ecommerce enabled websites with Rich Media
content.
- 3+ years print design experience
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and
Quark
- Experience with html and Web design
tools
- Degree in graphic design or equivalent
- Mac & PC literate
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: College Degree,
or University
